Pramote Teerawiwatana Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing away of former top Thailand player Pramote Teerawiwatana at the age of 45 in Bangkok today after a long battle with cancer.

Really sad to hear this shocking news. I only watched some of his matches, when partnered with Tesana Panvisvas.

Shocked indeed. Never knew he battled cancer at rather young age.

His partnership with Sakrapee Thongsari was perhaps the best ever for Thai MD. A long lived badminton career too - one of the few Asians who can match the Danes when it comes to longevity when playing in the International Circuits.
