Personally, I'm holding fire for the NR900, and I'm expecting an All England launch next year (or, failing that, September 2013).

NR800 is out in Germany already (iirc ...). I guess it will be "launched" in Holland around now (Dutch Open time)

UK is "always" (seemingly) a little late with introductions.

edit: NR800, 600 and I-Slash now available indeed in Holland.

I think it's ludicrous to hold out for something you know nothing about, that doesn't exist and no one has seen or used before. I mean, why not hold out for the next one, NR1000, or 1100, or even the 2000 that may come out in 2024?

Given what happened with the Nanospeeds, I'm expecting the NR900 to be

    a) The stiffest and most head-light of the bunch, and
    b) The top-of-the-range, i.e. there won't be another one.

Each to their own and all that, but...

    a) IIRC, the NS9900 is not the most head light of the bunch though? Besides, how much stiffer than the NR800 can it be?
    b) That’s what people thought when the so-called “top of the range” original Cab 20, Iso Tour-300/500, AT800, NS9000, Arc10, VT80 etc etc came out.

top of range in yonex head light nevertheless sound tempting enough. be it ns9000 or ns9900, to those who love head light rackets, they are really good.

Just been in to collect my racket, and spoke to the Yonex dealer, He's getting a demo NR800 in tomorrow for the day, (i wont be able to see it as im at work).

He phoned up Yonex while i was there, and said it will be on sale in the UK from the start of November, it will retail at £200.

Two hundred quid?!? Granted, almost nobody sells the at the full sticker price, but we can fully expect a £160+. No wonder Victor is making such inroads over here.

i don't know why, maybe i'm getting old, but i can't find the nr800 review thread. so my question is, on the yonex catalog it says head light, but on the racket, it is written head heavy. and also according some who's used it they all say it's head heavy. what's going on?
i've never seen a head heavy nanospeed or nanoray. the nanospeed that i've used that's closest to even balance is the ns800. am i missing something???

I've received mine just last week. Is there a review thread? Or should there be a new one? I couldn't find one!
