looks like ratchanok will play in french open instead of wjc 2012. this will surely increase the chance for tai tzu ying! unless she fly directly after the french open to participate in individual event.
according to badzine, may wont join WJC this year "Three-time World Junior Champion @RatchanokMay has confirmed that she won't be going to Chiba to defend her title." | -via badzine this is also my fave tourney... always excited to see new talents coming up.....
last year is a disappointing year for China Junior players.. Its time for a wake up call. Lin dan , cai Yun/fu haifeng retiring soon .. When will up and coming players turn to take over ?

Entry List for Individual Event has been updated through tournament website : http://www.badminton-chiba.com/wjc2012/eng_tmp/teams.pdf Team Event Schedule : http://www.badminton-chiba.com/wjc2012/eng_tmp/03timetable.pdf
Why are Sindhu and Vito still on the list? I thought they were injured? And.. surprisingly Denmark only send a handful team of 8 players. Russia even worse, they send none at all.
yes, vito is injured and there is a rumour that Thomi Azizan will substitute Vito's place. But as far as i know, today, Thomi is still playing in Sirnas Banten. I think Vito will not play in team event, and maybe, there is a sign that Vito could be back for individual event. But i dont think that Vito will be 100% for this event.
i think that is for team event? if not...russia won't even participate in individual? that's a shame...they got some good players coming through
fathonezic is very well informed. It is correct. Vito will not play due to a freak right palm injury he suffered while he was cleaning his motorcycle, he will be ok in one month time, but not in time for the BWF World Junior. Thomi will replace him, but only for the individual championship. INA does not need him for the team event, we got enough young-guns... but none better than Vito, honestly... I agree...
They have no money & are only sending players who they think have a medal chance (minimum QF place) and/or senior national team prospects for experience. They didn't register in time for the team event I think so as of yet are not in the team tournament but have asked for permission. Only denied so far by the officials.
