Is LYD using this new version or is he still using the BS12? And how is it different to the first gen other than the appearance?

I just saw a picture where LYD was holding his new racket. He was holding it like everyone else of us would have hold it in the first time. Probably he was surprised to have a new edition? Or just surprised by the new paintjob?
(too lazy to grab the picture from facebook :P)
Is someone at the korean open yet? Maybe someone could tell us if he's already using it.

In that link to the Victor site that someone posted earlier, there is a photo of him using it. But I'm not sure if its just a picture for promotional purposes or because he's changed racquets.
It would be interesting if this new version performs differently and if LYD is now using it, might explain why he went back to the BS12 - may be he was unhappy with the original BSLYD?

the BS LYD gen 1 i had was near the top of the 3U scale, while the BS LYD N was near the bottom.
the N has a higher BP than the gen1 (295 vs 292) but the extra mass means that the gen1 has a higher swing weight.
the SW of the gen1 is comparable to a MX70 or K8000 while the N is comparable to a BS11 or JJS.
since i only have one sample of each, it is hard to say if that's by design or just sample variations. we will see when we get more of these in the market.

I suspect the variation in the weights and the bp is down to manufacturing tolerances rather than intended differences. Most people probably wouldn't notice variations within the weighting ranges or 3mm difference in bp.
