Do you prefer isometric or oval head rackets?

Using ISO's for the last year or so.................played with only ovals for 12 years previously. no preference really but I feel that slicing is better with an ISO
Power wise I don't really think there is a big difference, I found when using ovals I like lower tensions around 20lbs but with Iso's i like around 22-24lbs.

Iso's i think have a softer feel than ovals and the sweet spot is larger but not as intense.

As I'm a fairly weak player (= not very good), iso can give me a bit more consitant hitting power than ovals, as I tend to swing early.

Ovals are my preference. I started out using ovals, and I have never changed. I have tried iso before, but I did not like it very much. Go Rasmussen Superlite!

I prefer oval rackets now, too bad I have once voted for iso frame.

I am converted now. All my best double games are always played with Cab22.

After trying out with quite a few ISO rackets, my conclusion is, I am not built to use ISO.

Therefore, just hope they don't dismiss all then oval rackets, especially cab30ms.

I am currently using BG70 Pro at 24 lbs. I like it and I think I will stick to it.

Unfortunately BG70 Pro is hard to find in the place where I live.

If i have to vote now, it has to be oval because i have never used iso before. But, i would like to give iso a try before i vote.

When I switched from my CarbonPro 767, I moved to an ISO 500 SP.

You'll likely find most of the racquets you try will exhibit more shaft flex as your Carbon Pro has an unusually large shaft diameter. It is very stiff compared to even the stiffiest Yonex offerings.

I have always played with ISO, at least after I restarted playing 4 years ago. Before I played with ovals but I don't really understand some players that WANT to have an oval? I don't see any advantage.

Well personally, I don't see any disadvantage. I mean, with all of my overhand shots, I wouldn't really miss. By miss i mean "off-centered" because you've practiced the timing over and over again every time you hit it. So, either my shots r bang-on, or they hit the frame

if you had less time to get in position, in which case when they hit the frame iso wont help me much ne way. the only shots that might be off centered would be drives, but im not a big fan of doubles, so i'll be fine. besides, its a really gud way to train your shots.

Then again, I've never used iso before so i could be wrong. i've just never bothered to borrow one or buy one.
