Ah I see. That's actually good idea, all bwf ss or pss should follow this

Yay... Good results for Ina xd team, all of them advanced !!

Most shockingly the easy win Rijal/Debby over Tao/Tang...

I remember Tao Jiaming once is quite exquisite xd player, what happened to him

On other hand after Rijal/Debby won their 1st title their confidence is climbing exponentially

Next round gonna be tricky for them

    Rijal/Debby v Nielsen/Pedersen (45-55)
    Kido/Pia v Sudket/Saralee (50-50)
    Towi/Lily v Kolding/Juhl (53-47) where's Thomas Laybourn btw ?? Is he retired ??
    Fran/Shendy v Songphon/Kunchala (50-50)

    Good luck

Having seen a bit of the match, I can't help but feel sorry for TBH. Always being partnered with lazy, out-of-shape players who try to play everything fancy and make lots of errors....can't be fun :S

Also, did anyone see the Rasmussen/xxx vs Tao JM/Tang JH XD match? Unbelievable. And to think that the Korean Open judges were accused of favoritism....in the deciding game, Tao gets a completely undeserved receiver fault, while Rasmussen serves with the biggest double motion I've ever seen (at 20-18, I believe). Service judge must've been fast asleep - or dreaming of days long gone where Rasmussen was actually good.
Having said that, you can see why the Chinese didn't make the next round - TJM moving very slow for a world class player. I think your days as a Chinese national team member are counted when you start to fall behind Rasmussen in speed

I saw a little bit of that. I was very impressed with Maria Helsbol. Seems very aggressive and strong.
That's sad if, as you say, the game was decided on some dicey serves. Cheers.

Wasn't decided on it - the Chinese were able to pull through eventually. Still seemed very biased to me >:/

Ya, I know. Still - look at 32:03 and tell me that was NOT a double motion.

I can't tell if it is a backward motion from this shot but obviously there is some movement in his arm yeah.

Sidenote: Helsbol was supposed to become Roepke's new doubles partner but they have split already before even playing a tournament . Line Kruse on the other hand had been partnered up with youngster Grebak at the Dutch but not here as a pairing either??
Helsbol's old partner teamed up with Roepke would be nice from a spectator point of view [but not active anymore, internationally anyway]

... waiting for the new PAW's but now seeing matches don't start till noon ... nighty night .
