I am thinking about starting a irc channel for badminton video sharing I have a lot of badminton videos captured on tv card (uncompressed) Which is better than any quality that i've seen on net Recent captures by me include All England 2003 MS final - hafiz hashim vs chen hong MD final - sigit & candra vs lee & yoo WS final - zhou mi vs xie xinfang World Championships 2003 MS final - wong choon han vs xia xuanze MD final - sigit & candra vs laars paske & jonas rasmussen WS final - zhang ning vs gong ruina XD quaterfinal - nathan robertson & gail emms vs wei yiyi & zhao tingting There are also videos done by other people I am hoping to get videos of players like dong jiong or sun jun from other people who are willing to contribute (not the videos that are already available on net) If no one is interested in a badminton channel on mirc but want to trade videos then you can still find me on mirc-x, aniverse or chatsociety as "wei"
which part of the world are you in? i am interested in getting the ae2003 md final. i don't use irc and i probably wouldn't be able to download any videos because i have a slow connection. i have a few dong jiong and sun jun matches on svcd that i can post to you. mini me
This is really a good idea... I am a badminton fanatic myself. Got couple of videos like : All ENgland 2001 MDF: Candra/Sigit vs Halim/Gunawan Thomas Cup 2002 Final: Malaysia vs Indonesia (5 matches) Thomas CUp 2002 Semi-Final: CHina vs Malaysia (5 matches) Some practices/lesson videos in mandarin & cantonese Some misc ones also. This is a good way to share since badmintoncity.com no longer provide any services. Looking foward in doing so.
I would be happy to start a mirc channel for people to share their files But if you just want to trade, i already have all the files that are available on badmintoncity and other badminton sites. And i am in the UK, so i don't want to send people cds from around the world. I've uploaded a video between wong choon han and xia xuanze in the world championships on my 20mb limit website (cut with virtualdubmod, uncompressed video with compessed mp3 sound) so that you can have an idea of the quality of the videos i have http://www.angelfire.com/space/andyng/ (video is in the "files" section)
Wei, R u from malaysia study in UK? I myself from malaysia working in the State. As u know badminton is not as popular here. Starting a new mirc channel will be a great idea As long people are willing to share
-wei- what is supposed to play that file type? It is ogm and I haven't seen that before. Anyone who can answer please do.
this link doesn't work anymore... Otherwise, I think it is a very good idea, but I don't have much to share for the moment... (except MD final of AE 2001 but everyone has that one! )
I don't have time to find another file server right now Too busy... Your only way is to install mirc and locate me there and i will put it on my fserve (computer is on 24hrs) there is a 20kbps minimum transfer rate so if you cant do faster than that then i can't really help you. It might help if you can tell me what you have to offer, since i cant run a mirc channel with just one fserve. If you just want to trade then you'll still have to install mirc first
woop you need the pegasus video codec (4CC PIM1) try this one ftp://ftp.pinnaclesys.de/driver/pc/pctv/Pclepim1.exe
video swap, anyone? I'm very interested in the 2003 World Championship MD final with Sigit and Candra and also the 2002 All England MD semi final with Sigit and Candra vs. Ha and Kim on VHS. I have all the All England finals since 1993 on VHS. I really prefer video tapes since downloading takes too much time. I live in Amsterdam, so sending the tapes by mail shouldn't be costly for anybody in Europe.
Hi all! I have a dozen of CD collection of Badminton video ranging from this years down to 84-87, the era of Morten frost. I live in Canada, Montreal so if anyone are willing to trade some CDs just contact me. For other people I really don't know or don't have any ressources regarding sharing them in the internet It would be really awesome! Cheers!
I would totally love to be involved in an irc channel.. i've been on irc since 96, usually on Dalnet, and it's quite easy to download vidz and such.. and much faster with peeps who have fast net connection i.e cable/T3/adsl etc
I am also interested in joining a IRC badminton room if there is one.. If that is too much hassle, than a alternative way to share to though bittorrent.
