Hi Friends: My group are intermediate to high intermediate players. sometimes advance players, join us play. We had been playing with Yonex AS40, Protech PT 10, Victor Ace Champion, and the tournament Li ning shutters. But none of them are able to last and endure hard smashes. Currently we are using AS 30 yonex shutter. Quality wise is average.. just ok. Any badminton fans here can recommend me any good shutters can last and endure hard smashes..? Thanks
I assume cost is not a problem .... so ... There is only one (easily available) left that you have no tried from your list .... AS50 ... or the ULTIMATE shuttlecock (only found in Japan so far) - Tournament F-90 ... Last I heard about F-90 is that it costs around USD100+ a tube .... only used in Yonex Japan Open (to be confirmed, heresay)
You guys must be very offensive high advance player Which part that don't last? Cork, shaft or the feather? How long before you need to change 1 shutle?
Anyone want to try Nami shuttles. As good as AS40-50. . I was recommended this. Pretty good. I've tried it. $28 market rate.
That is extremely cheap. Authentic? I know as40 cheapest is 39 sgd average or rm100 whilst the chinese as40 clone is 22sgd..As50 seldom see in shops anymore
Use sealion easier. Consistent and less hassles. 1-2 shuttles for each game for advance players. Good bang for your buck.
Thanks for the suggestion. Have already tried the Sealion in the gold tube with some green markings. Not really that great a bang for the buck as the rib structure on the shuttle tends to be a bit shabby after a few smashes. I was not smashing hard and we had to change the shuttle after 3 smashes! Overall usage for the night was up by significant amount for group of more than 10 players. Like the AS-40 but seem to be a shortage in SG and JB anyway. The shops tell me the new stock of AS-40 will be more expensive as the price is set to increase.
Perhaps a case of mis-reading? The 'RM' is for 'Ringgit Malaysia', not RMB. As you mentioned, AS20 is US$14, which is even cheaper than quoted SGD$24 (about US$21). I suppose that is your cost price.
