    Let's hope Axelsen puts in more energy to combat LCW, as oppose to his tame defeat to the latter from the previous tournament. You can learn plenty from playing against LCW although I can't say the same applies for Chan Kwong Beng.

    Veteran Jiao, a reliable handmaiden of CHN WS, proving once again she is still good enough to take on anyone in the rest of the world, impressive, almost crushing Adrianti whom I regard as a strong INA player.

    Meanwhile, Chen Xiaojia seems to have lost her sting lately, on the way out facing imminent defeat by HK pretty lass Poon Lok Yan.

    Yeah Poon Lok Yan/Tse Ying Tsuet are HK no 1 wd, wondering why one of them decides to play singles now...and with good reason..

    Another early round elimination for Chen XJ. I fear she and Liu Xin (see how she performs next week) may face relegation from the CHN national team to the provincial level soon.
