Zhao Yunlei lost both her matches yesterday, meanwhile Ma Jin won both her matches and in the running for 2 titles.

Personally I like Ma Jin than Zhao Yunlei. But I think Ma Jin will win only WD tonight.

Men Singles is likely to be LCW. He is probably the only current Olympic finalist who are still performing as good as during Olympic.

MD final featuring unexpected new Korean pair. I thought Lee/Ko and Kim/Kim were supposed to be better than this pair. But just goes to show that the top MD players are quite evenly matched.

I hope china wont take gold this time. All the opponents they are playing here are very strong. And also i wish saina to come home with the title.

Chen Long lost tamely to DPY, I guess not many people expected that!
But I don't think DPY's workman style will pose much of a threat to LCW in the finals.

In the WS finals, Saina has a bit of an edge over Juliane, based on current form this week, for sure. Besides, Julian left her guts on the floor in her semi-final encounter with Jiang YanJiao, and may still be recovering from the effort. But JS is an extraordinary fighter and has tremendous self-belief. Now, it's left to be seen how she counters the form of her opponent, who has not dropped a game throughout this tournament.

I'm tipping Ma Jin for a memorable double, here. Just as long as CX doesn't self-destruct (the big question: will Towi?)

SBC/YYS have had a really smooth ride into the finals! Unlike their opponents, KKK/TBH (what! who! They got past R16?? :D ) who will probably spend the night on intraveinous glucose after the marathon semis... ;) :D If the MAS pair cannot finish in 2 games, I'll go with the Korean pair to take it. YYS will be the key.

I expected it. I was confidently PAW CL then changed my mind :D Probably CBA aiming to line up the world ranking with their players from 1 to 10.

Might be CX if MJ keep glaring at him when mistakes happen...

Agreed. Based on how the Koreans handled the INA pair, fast and furious, willing to take and make risk shots........MAS pair is gone.

Towi will not self destruct when many people are not expecting him to do well. When they started playing, they did well. After a string of success, too much expectation and Towi did not perform starting from 2011 Indonesian SS loss and until early 2012. Then nobody expect them to win AE, they won. After that, in the Olympic, the expectation is too great.

As for Ahsan/Hendra yesterday. I wonder why Ahsan in the net too many times and Hendra at the back. That is not a good strategy but if Ahsan is not fit, then they have no choice.

I've expected that before the match started as LCW is getting married and LYB probably decided to be generous to give him some wedding gift. :)

JOJ's tenacity was fantastic against Lee CW yesterday. I doubt DuPY can do anything to trouble the birthday boy today. Datuk will get to eat his birthday cake - hope he savours it slowly and not gobble it up too quickly for us to enjoy watching him do so.:p

Jokes aside, I admire DuPY's attitude, a supremely fit, hardworking and determined fighter.

    Happy Birthday, Lee CW !

Ma Jin blocks and drop shots too much, Tantowi/Natsir should learn to anticipate it.
