    Hey all,

I am interested in buying either a Armortec racket or a racket from the Bravesword series. but i am not sure which racket from both series will best suit my style of play.

I only play doubles and i prefer to play from the back providing accurate and steep smashes but i also like to control the rally and use precise shots to move my opponents around the court.
    My previous rackets have been,
Yonex Arcsaber Z Slash, Victor Meteor MX80 and Li-Ning N50

I'm looking for a racket Medium - Stiff and Even Balance - Slightly head heavy, that provides great control but also decent smashes, Price is not a issue.

    Thanks all :)

i second the bravesword recommendation as it is slightly head heavy.

What about Bravesword 11 or the Armortec 900 Power for my style of play? :)

Those are good choice. You should consider the Li Ning N55 as well.

Because I have demos of all the Brave Sword series and live in Ipswich so thought if you lived close enough you could drop by and demo them - best way to find the one you like best!

Guys i have narrowed it down to

    Armortec 900 Power
    Armortec 900 Technique
    Bravesword 11
Bravesword 12? (Not sure if its too heavy at 94 grams to be used for doubles?)

Needs to be a racket with great control, quite quick on defence and good on smashes

    Help!

    Thanks! :)

Give the bravesword 15 a try. Slightly head heavy and mid stiff.

BS11 is awesome but so is the BS12 which is great for doubles as very fast. I fact I was demoing this with Lauren Smith a few months ago and this is the racket she chose and was using in the French Open superseries this week. YYS also won the Denmark Open SSP MD using a BS12!

Will the BS12 not be a bit slow for a fast pace doubles game because of its weight? Whereas the Armortec 900s seem to be made for doubles as they are quite light rackets?

I've never thought the BS12 plays particularly heavy but suppose that is down to personal opinion. Only played with a AT900T for a short while and it did feel quite light but also stiffer.

UK only has 4U AT900's doesn't it? (to explain that light feeling ;))

From looking online you can get them either 3U or 4U in the UK from offical sites.
Which weight is better for doubles 3U or 4U?
The racket that i am using at the moment is Li Ning N50 which weighs 102g with string and 2 thin overgrips attatched.

That seems to be the perfect weight for me
My Z Slash weighs 98 Grams total
and my MX80 weighs 102 grams total as well

So a racket between 95 - 105 Total weight is what i am looking for i guess.

Also another quick question how stiff is the AT900s compared to the MX80 becuase i do find that racket slightly too stiff for me i have heard that the AT900s are extra stiff as well?
