Buddy came back from a HKG shopping trip. Little did I know I live literally next to a stringer (who is also a BC member); so when buddy asked if I can get these strung by him I had the chance to take a few shots before handing them over . Didn't spend too much time on post adjusting the hue of that purple to show up properly; just left it
out of curiousity how do you set up your shots? cause you've got the whole black background thing going on but also a bit of reflection kinda like a mirror? really cool stuff
The blk bg is just space that is unlit. Have the light source close to the subj (i cant tell you quantitatively the angle the light hits, you gotta play with it....that's the fun ) but really low power so the fall off is quite sharp. Then you just be mindful of having a lot of space behind the subj and voila, black bg As for the reflection, anything with a dark and glossy / semi glossy surface would do.
