I just purchased some hooks (Suction and adhesive hooks) and mounted it around my computer workstation. How do you display your collection? This is mine. if you need to know my computer specs, http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2554764
It holds in the first time you put it on, once you take it off and try to reposition, it will not hold the weight. I had to throw away two.
This thread is a good idea. It might be neat to see how many people set up their badminton shrines. But some may be like me, where the gear is hid away in the basement so as not to remind the wife of "the mistress" which takes me away some nights.
There is a photo that user bluejeff posted many years ago of his badminton cabinet...I'm trying to search for it in the forum....but it's epic and is the ultimate and most organized way to display rackets, shoes, stringing accessories.
My golf clubs collection already took her attention away from my racket ho-ing But seeing how the only day I DON'T play is on Fridays, I usually just leave my shoes out to air dry and keep the bag near the door. Good thing she's stopped chirping me about my cameras, as they in a way help put food on the table
Found IT!!! http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/13695-your-racquet-pics!?p=144804#post144804 Enjoy!
i have long wall hooks like those from a badminton shop and that's how i hang my rackets. when i need to go play i pick the racket i feel like, string it, then put it in my bag. shuttles are kept in the bathroom for humidity and shoes in the trunk of my car for the dryness. strings i keep next my stringer in the dining area. it works out this way because i don't have a wife
Trying to get an adhesive metal flat Plate So i can display my shoes and other things that cannot be on hooks @.@
and a case to support this.. Janet has been using the ARC9FL and wanted to try something different. i have this pile of rackets lying around, she saw the ARC10 and "borrowed" it to try out. needless to say, it has been living in her bag every since and now she is retiring her 9FLs... ps. just don't let her know besides the 2 ARC10's that i got, i have a ARC10PG in the closet, still brand new in it original wraps and never strung...
@kwun: It won't be long before there will be more than Mrs. Lightfingers 'borrowing' at your home. Those little ones must be getting to an age where dad's gear is fair game.
