    Men's singles very interesting here:

Axelsen vs Tago, Axelsen in his first SS Semi, interesting to see how he does, Tago has had rotten form for the last 4 months, but seems to have found something this week, I think Tago will pull this one in 3...

Jørgensen vs Daren Liew interesting again, I don't think I can call this one either :(

Tago for president!!! Last year, his idol won the MS title here; will it be Goofball himself this year? I can only hope...

An all-Japan WS semi-finals; cruel! phil will be sobbing in his pretzels.... :(
In the other WS semis, Juliane has a more than even chance of putting it across Saina this time. And taking the title as well, on Sunday.

I'd like to see BYX/ZQX lift the WD title, please. But hang on now, it's an all-China semi-finals affair against Ma Jin (and her any partner... :D ) ! Still and all, I fancy the young pups going all the way...

An all-Korea MD promises fireworks, and I'd love to see 2Kim overcome in straights!

XD? What's there to think about? ;)

Not really, even within the favourites there are favourites :D.
Anyway, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
Better not to risk having zero in the final :D.

The Chinese men's and women's singles players were shown the exits in the QF and this is a rare thing for the Chinese not to participate in these two disciplines in the SF in a SS tournament. This shows when they have no room to maneuver by way of walkovers, etc., the Chinese could be beaten in a tournament where fair play dictates.
    Unseeded players Liew Daren, Minatsu, KSH/LYD, SBC/EHW caused upsets beating S Sasaki (S2), KKK/TBH (S2), T Baun (S3) and ZN/ZYL (S2) respectively.
Hopefully, L Daren could prevail against JOJ but it would not be easy. The only thing favoring L Daren is that JOJ had a tough 3-game match against PHG in the QF.

Interesting WS match , Leopard fighting... one to take revenge and other to grab the prey(title).. I will push aside all my personal works and would watch my favourite saina playing... I definitely sure that saina will ease to the final... Exciting..

JOJ is pretty much going to get an easy time to go into the finals. About the other semi-finals, very difficult to call.

Yup, the most easy to predict match will be JOJ vs DL.

Not Really ! DL has beaten JOJ easily (21-12, 21-13) in the Thomas Cup Final in May 2012.
Since both players form have improved recently so it's a 50 - 50 chance !
DL playing style (run all over the corners and suddenly inject the pace !) will going to give JOJ all sort of troubles... :D

JOJ just came back from a bad state that time man...he's back on form now...DL also improved, but it will be difficult to beat JOJ

It depends on which DL appear in SF. When DL Is on form, I think he can beat anyone except LCW, LD and CL.

Agree, Sho Sasaki impresses me by his previous two matches with Lin Dan, in the Thomas Cup and the Olympics. He couldn't reproduce that form since then. Born June 30,1982, he is 30 already.

As for Darren Liew, he played well to beat Sasaki last week and, I suppose, yesterday though I didn't get to watch this one. But he has JOJ as his opponent today, the toughest of the three in my opinion, so the outcome a bit difficult to say.
