just like what the title of this thread states, is there a difference ? ever since I started playing badminton, people would always suggest to go for racquets made in japan. is it the different materials they use to make racquets or what ? sorry if I'm asking a 'stupid' question
Japan are high ends, Taiwan are mid-range and China are low end rackets. That's the extent of my knowledge
The price itself reflects some differences, no? Definitely better quality are more expensive hence made in Japan are the most expensive... for Yonex...
Try typing it into a web search engine. Country coding, quality, badminton racket, etc. It should give you a start.
Yonex touts the fact that rackets from Japan utilise their solid core technology. I'm assuming this means it isn't elsewhere ...
Bought 2 MIJ Yonex last year and both cracked the wooden grips with very light use in less than a year, and I am not even a hard hitter. I am done with Yonex.
