Everybody have different opinions and I think VT-80 is still the rival for his brother, Z-Force!

Li-Ning N90 is in my opinion slower (swing speed), head heavier, less stiff.
N90 is head heavy like Z-Force but they're not similar to play, imho.

I'd also say VT80 is a good similar racket. Peter Gade switched back from Z-Force to VT80. Japanese doubles Nr. 1 are still using VT80.

I was told vtzf is not same as vtzf Ltd, vtzf ltd is more similar to vt80 as ltd shaft is more flexi compare to vtzf...

Victor Superwave 35 & MX 80 is quite similar to Z force.

Guy go for SW 35, its stiffness and head heavy worth the price.

I agree with ferrerkiko... I would say sw35... It has head heavy frame and very stiff shaft... I would say it has heavier frame than mx80... In this case, it can rival vtzf/ltd

I have VT80 3U for like a year and half now, and in term of power & manuver, my cheaper newly purchased ASTEC AEROTORNADO 60S (US$45) is proven just way better in all performances! It's Head-Heavy but slightly less stiff than VT80. specs on shaft states 297mm +/-2 & stiff.

I bet if LCW can switch racket anytime and not breaching the endorsement contract, would he still remain as Yonex player?

I hv used vt80,vtzf ltd,sw35 n mx80 n i found out vtzf ltd is the most head heavy among all.n the stiffest i would say sw35.i do agree that vt80 n vtzf ltd has a flex shaft n both almost hv the similarities except for the frame weight.thats wat i feel n it may differ than others

Just received my Z-Force and played for 3 hours! As compared to my previous racquets, VT-80, Z-Slash etc etc. I shall compare the Z-Force with VT-80. The Z-Force gives me even more smash power due to the heavier head however, defence decrease a little. Perhaps it is caused since it is heavier! But just train more strength on your wrist will solve the problem! Overall, I feel that Z-Force rival is still VT-80 since Z-Force decrease my defence and increased my smashes!

So, which victor racket is closer to VTZF? I feel like trying out a victor racket but I don't have any friend here own one, all are yonex user.

Is that 3U? I'm still waiting for my Z-Force rackets to arrive. To be honest, I don't care that much for defense - it's all mostly about timing anyway, so it's less important if the racket is heavy etc - you just need to adjust your defensive technique. However, a head heavier racket will always create a more powerful smash compared to a head lighter racket if you can create the same swing speed and with everything else equal.

The only disadvantage I can observe with head heavier rackets is with drive speed. However, even this can be mitigated/overcome with the right training exercises.
