i have been talking to badminton alley about the new cyber 200 string from yonex that's supposedly made with gut. then i found out that ashaway made a string with the word "gut" in the name but later clarified by badminton alley that it's not really made out of gut, they just used the word in the name. they also mentioned that the only true gut string that is still circulating in the badminton world is made by babolat and it's only available in europe. can anyone shed some light to this? i've been dying to try out gut strings on a badminton racket, cos i'm really curious how it behaves in badminton knowing the characteristics in tennis :)

yeah. same here. there was someone who tried it and posted their review on gut string. and IIRC, for badminton, synthetic is the way to go. gut string at the diameter we are talking about is too mushy and slow for badminton.
