I guess WS, MD, XD are still competitive and interesting to follow, better than CHN Masters SS ;)

I love badminton and follow all the SS, GP etc. Honestly even I am not so enthusiastic about this, don't know why . Let's just hope for some exciting matches and not end up with all China vs China finals.

Yeah I vote for upsets and exciting entertaining finals.
Most of the time China vs China matches look like training sessions to me.
I am ok with Yihan vs LXR though :)

All tournaments up to 6 months after the Olympics are less attractive.;)

After 6 months, players and BCers start gearing up for the world championships.

Bellatrix lost to former WChamp Wang Lin in two close games, 18-21 / 19-21. INA WS only represented by Aprilia and Hera Desi who will meet Wang Yihan and Jiang Yanjiao respectively tomorrow.

well, im still suffering from the Olympics blue. still not quite get back to play or watch after the excitement in London.

im sure the players need time to adjust, especially the gold medalists.

Sun Yu failed to qualify, Thai players are getting better and better.

Cheung is right, once the Olympic effects are completely over as time goes by, order will be restored. Still, this is going to be a very good tournament, even if it turns out to be CHN vs CHN affairs.

LXR,WSX,Wang Lin and a not-100% fit WYH(according to a report) plus some of our own fave non-CHN players will make the WS contest a thriller. Too bad Saina isn't here, and Zhong/Bao withdrawn due to Zhong's injury and Zhao/Tian withdrawn as Zhao has to attend a very important 'political meeting'.

Interested to follow the progress of Mitani M, PV Sindhu, Inthanon R, and Nozomi Okuhara, the newly-crowned WJC.

Glad to see Cai/Fu playing and looking forward to see how they'll fare against the KOR MD, esp LYD/SHK.

Let's see how far Darren Liew can go in the lower half of the draw. And watching Chen Jin's form.

Wish the Singapore Team can do well, but it will be like climbing Mount Everest (or striking lottery).
Well, still, wish them all the luck they can get. :)

    Gu Juan vs Busanan Ongbumrungpan
Fu Ming Tian vs Wang Shi Xian
Shinta/Yao Lei vs Cheng Shu/Luo Yu
