Hi BC. Just thought I would ask a question about bulge grip and the creasing you get when putting on the overgrip from the butt cap onto the handle. I use the upside down technique so the wide end starts at the bottom and the tapered end finishes on the cone. How do you stop it? I am using a very thin overgrip 0.6mm onto bare wood. Do I need to build the base of the handle up more?
So. This is how I wrap the grip. My wrist protector is larger than the one on the racket shown in the video below. You can see Ant gets creases as well. Is there a trick to stop it from happening? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsPXtbLnzoU&feature=youtube_gdata_player
isn't that a replacement grip being applied on top of the factory grip? if so, then you've drastically increased the grip size and decreased the balance point of your racket... unless that was your intention... and the finishing tape was applied very messily
patience and experience but in the end, a little crease there doesn't matter much... you won't be able to feel it when playing
