Here we go, last day of this tournament will present 5 final matches (starting time 01.00pm local time), host China is already bag 1 title through all CHN final in MS discipline. Order of play : http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...138392-924A-48E4-A003-769050C423AB&d=20121118 CHN time : http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_CN.aspx PAW game : http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/119838-Pick-A-Winner-(PAW)-177-–-CHINA-OPEN-PREMIER-SS-2012 Two defending champions once again cruise into last round : Boe/Mogensen and Wang/Yu to face Koreans Ko/Lee and Japanese Maeda/Suetsuna respectively. Will they retain their title here?
XD - Xu Chen/Ma Jin vs GLY/CPS. Chan and Goh have done well here, but I have to respect Xu Chen's mental strength when he showed up to outplay the Koreans despite not feeling well. Ma Jin is, well, Ma Jin, too good at the net to be pushed away. WS - Li Xuerui vs Ratchanok Inthanon. Li Xuerui to stamp her Olympic class against the World's top teen prodigy. Ratchanok may have a chance if she could play mind games - but she's just too polite, still. MS - Wang Zhengming vs Chen Long. If only to push up WZM's rankings. WD - Yu Yang/Wang Xiaoli vs Maeda/Suetsuna. Japanese would be feeling the effects of fatigue, expect a quick demolition from disgraced World Champs. MD - Ko Sung Hyun/Lee Yong Dae vs Boe/Mogensen. Very close one, Korean's with slight edge as they are much more mobile. The winning pair shall be decided between the mind games to unsettle either Boe or KSH.
Can only follow matches on Live Score. Only interested in the match between the reigning Olympincs Champ and the future, perhaps the next , Olympics Champ. Best of luck to both.
XD match: G1: 21 (CN) - 15 (MAS) G2: 21 (CN) - 17 (MAS) Chan/Goh played well today but Xu/Ma played better.....
Rat vs LXR coming up in a few moments... I have a sneaking suspicion that Chen Long may allow Wang ZhengMing to lift the title, just to get him into the top 10. Wang has been stagnant in the teens for way too long and they want to see total Chinese domination of the top 10 by any means. They'd do this because they can, and there's nothing in the rules that doesn't allow it.
I think China will still get 4 titles in spite of earlier setbacks. I agree that CBA will want WZM to win
was looking at the score line, and then i realised it can actually be pin pointed to the straight lose of 8 points in the first game that contribute to the lost. sometime i wonder why i seems to be recalling many malaysians players suffering from this feat... is it a lack of concentration?
Xu Chen has really improved dramatically since the Olympics. He's proving to the world that he deserves to have Ma Jin as his partner.
Could it be a focus issue? Seems like they have a tendency to lose focus when things weren't going their way. Strong opponents like CN player will latch onto such opportunity to build up a huge lead. It becomes difficult to close the gap.
Everytime Malaysia loses - there is talk of focus issue ...... Frankly the Chinese were just superior and could impose their power game better than the Malaysians varied pace approach. No disgrace to the Malaysians at all, they were playing at the best point of their abilities. Goh Liu Ying worked a lot of magic at the net - but there is a reason why Ma Jin is the reigning queen of of the wand. Xu Chen too had become more of a complete XD player - even got a lot better at the net. Excellent match!
