i am now using 24 lbs for both cross and main. i just realise this is not good for racket. should i change to 23/25 or 24/25 or 23/24? the cross should be higher tension than the main, right?
Why is 24x24lbs (or any uniform tension stringing) not good for [the] racquet? Does your racquet frame look longer (and horizontally squashed/compressed) or fatter (and vertically squashed/compressed) after stringing compared to the empty unstrung frame (easily verified by measuring the two longest X and Y lengths of your racquet frame)? You have to be careful and understand that if the current uniform tension you use now is giving you the correct frame shape, changing it to any of the three other tensions you suggested my lead to the deformation of the frame, depending on your stringer.
