    Predictions involving INA players:

    MS R16
    Tommy Sugiarto
vs P. Kashyap - Tommy is the only INA MS player left in the Draw and I hope he can reach QF. His H2H is 3-2 against the IND player.

    WS R16
    Adriyanti Firdasari
vs Eriko Hirose - this will be another long match. The last encounter was won by Firda in the Uber-Cup Finals. I hope for Firda to continue the streak.

Bellaetrix Manuputty vs Li Xuerui [2] - no chance for Bella against the Olympic champion.

    MD R16
Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputro [8] vs Ko Sung Hyun/Lee Yong Dae - no chance for the INA pair to win this one.
Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin vs Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra - both are veteran pairs. I am hoping for Kido/Alvent to progress to QF.

Endo Hiroyuki/Kenichi Hayakawa [5] vs Bona Septano/Afiat Yuris Wirawan - the seeded JPN pair to advance.

Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki - this will be tough match. The MAS pair has a slight edge.

Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan vs Shin Baek Cheol/Yoo Yeon Seong - another tough match for Hendra/Ahsan...they could lose this one if they play like the first set yesterday.

    WD R16
    Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei
[1] vs Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris - it will be good enough for Suci/Della to push the Olympic champions to 3-sets.

Goh Liu Ying/Lim Yin Loo vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii - not to under-estimate the MAS pair, but I think Mel/Grace will have a better chance against them than the DEN pair. Not to mention Mel/Grace have the added incentive of a slim chance for a SSF spot if they advance far in this tourney.

    XD R16
    Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto
[5] vs Yoo Yeon Seong/Jang Ye Na - these 2 pairs are fighting for a spot in the SSF. I hope for Rijal/Debby to prevail.

Mads Pieler-Kolding/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl vs Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati [6] - if Fran/Shendy were to play like yesterday, it will be a gone case.

Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili vs Tan Wee Kiong/Lim Yin Loo - it would be great if Riky/Richi can reach QF in 2 consecutive SS tourneys.

yup, it is important for liew daren to prove that his win in French Open 2012 is not an one-off show.

yeah, but they are still young. they were also leading 20-17 in the decider games against Zhong/Bao, only to lose 20-22.

Let's see who gets a worse thrashing from Chen Long, Liew Daren or Chong Wei Feng!

Anyone expecting Daren Liew to beat Chen Long is out of their mind. :D Let's be realistic here; if he stays competitive, or maybe even steals a game, I'd say he's taken another step forward..

A lot of entertaining matches today, hope the live stream will be smooth.

CL is still better than Liew Daren. I am just hoping that Liew Daren can play at his best, not losing before even coming to the court.
Rian/Angga vs LYD/KSH, a very tricky and tough match for INA MD, yet they have to play at his best, it is a very valuable experience for them.
Suci/Della vs QT/ZYL, hoping INA WD could win this.
    Ahsan/Hendra vs SBC/YYS, Go Ahsan/Hendra

Let's put it this way, CL will still be better than Daren Liew even if he loses today's match ..... wakakakaka.

Indonesian MD pairs can turn the tables on their Korean opponents - it is a matter of belief, reduction of "own goal" mistakes, and err, domination of the frontcourt while not getting trapped in a power and fast drive game.

As good as the Koreans pairs are, I can't say that they are actually better in frontcourt than Indonesian pairs. LYD included.

Judging from Daren Liew 1st round performance, he still make so many mistakes at the front court.... even worse than when he was playing at French Open.

It should be an easy win for Chen Long... 21-9, 21-12 to CL is my prediction...

if Daren Liew able to beat Chen Long tonight, it will earn him a title of "Dovahkiin" as slaying the 'dragon'...
