Itshhh Monaro shhmaaate ;p Pronounced Mon-naar-ro

Aussie V8 supercar racing isn't much fun since it's effectively a two make series I'm waiting for next year when we might get something besides Ford and Holden. What I do like about it is that the cars actually sound good and have grunt, unlike the two litre series where they were whiny revvy things with a torque hill that you could spit over.

Also the racing is close and there are quite a few stacks ;p The other new rules coming in next year may ruin it though for the racers, we'll see.

NB those of you who have read my other posts may find it weird that I like grunt in my racing cars but prefer tech and revs in my personal vehicles but I can feel the revs and power when I drive, I can't see it in racing.

Anything beats Nascar, I don't understand the american fascination with oval racing, this applies to Indy as well. F1 is okay, but it'd be so much better if they manage to pass each other besides at the start and at the pits :P I'm actually really a fan of rallying, Australian GTP is pretty good as well.

    o right on..
i have been watching racing since i was a baby, my dad would always have racing on tv every sunday.. Cars in F1 just amaze me, how fast they can go around corners and the machinery is just incedible.. bmw's engine can produce 19,000rpm, its just insane. But with the new qualifying rules and what not, this year was way better than the previous 4 years when ferrari just dominated

WRC is wicked, the pionts battle is pretty close too.. is the championship over yet? i havent really been tuning in..

to me, racing cars is just a waste of gas and pollutes the air alot. but in a way its fun. hey the crashes in nascar are what i look for. fun, just as long as no one loses their lives

talking about sleepers.. near where i live, in Stettler there is a JDM 1988 nissan cefiro with a rb26dett in it. I think the guy dynoed it at 500+ hp. That is the ultimate sleeper IMO. He also has a bunch of other toys like a JDM silvia..

For those who dont know what a cefiro is here it is.. The car in stettler looks similar to this but with 3 spoke rims and no rear window, just plastic
