Just something curious. Stiffness is how much the racket can bend. So a higher swing speed will need a stiffer racket. So for the Chinese double pair FHF-CY, why are they using a Midflex racket of their Kason C7 and F9. Will they be better with a stiffer racket?
That is really interesting. As we can read in the Kason F9 review threat - the F9 is really between midflex and flex. And Fu have one of the hardest/fastest smash in the world.... I don`t think that his smash would more hard if he change to e.g. the very stiff MX80... For me (advanced player): midflex: more smash power and easy clear shots stiff: more defense/repulsion power and more control That is the reason why I prefer midflex....
strong arms can handle stiff racket but flexible racket is for people who can't swing the racket fast. does it mean that a person with stronger arm will smash better with a stiffer racket compare to flexible racket?
i like it ,agree with you ,In Yonex you have the Voltrics, VT 5, VT 7, VT 70. All head-heavy and mid-flex
i disagree with you on this, i have a very skinny arms, but good wrist power, and i'm using a semistiff - stiff racket, still i can generate the power. different people might have different point of view on this. just some thought from me
does it mean, midflex racket is more user friendly while stiff racket is more for good wrist power and stuff?
hmm...midflex/flexible racket are mainly more user-friendly compared to stiff rackets, for the wrist thing, not sure about it
