I don't know man. Sounds fake to me as the price of a JP racket for $130 seems awfully low.

Definitely fake, numbers don't add up. For one it didn't even exist yet at the time it was supposedly manufactured
...
Engraving is poor as well, can hardly make it out on the genuine ones but relatively easy to read here ...

it is also fake because on VTZF (ltd too) the serial code is barely visible. you can hardly see the engravings made on the white cone and shaft. on the z force rackets, the laser engravings are microscopic defs fake. 100%

Fake.. The engraving is wrong. On the LTD ones, the engraving is in white too. Like Kwun mentioned, the grommets are not real YY grommets.

actually, this thing has been discussed a million times already. briefly, codes on the cone eventually is the production date. DDMMYXSP, dd refers to days, mm refers to months, y refers to year of production, x is a mystery code and finally country code. as your situation,131012JP. it's should be on 13.10.2011. so far as i remembered, 2011 is year of VT80...LOL..and u have to match the date of production along with the shaft code.
and, every genuine yonex rackets HAS SERIAL NUMBER..
