Hey everyone!
I'm an aspiring new badminton player. I've played for about a year and i'm looking to improve. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Take lessons. Watch tons of badminton videos. Footwork drills.

Welcome! Read BC forums on Badminton rackets / equipment. Buy lots of new rackets.. just kidding.
On a serious note, while you are here read up posts on techniques/training. Elsewhere focus on your technique and footwork (get some advice if you are not sure). Good luck!
