    Elements Badminton Centre

Hahaha ... you guys will be playing in my "HOME" courts ... they have recently upgraded the paint job too, walls are now dark blue instead of white/cream previously, so it is easier to see the shuttles. No drafts, so no excuse there. They also have OVERHEAD FLOODLIGHTS as well as the court by court lights, so maybe you guys can get them to flick the BIG SWITCH and the whole hall will be floodlit up nicely like in major tournaments !

I have played under their floodlight conditions a couple of times in the early days of the centre when their lighting systems were being tested - great !!

Do ask for Court No. 1, 2 and 3 (in a row) .... rather than 4,5 and 6 ... more room to hang-out as Crt 3 is adjacent to a big empty space (supposed to be, a little courtside cafe - but they have moved that outside and also the door connecting to the outside is next to Court no. 2 and 3 )

BTW, do take note that there are not that many places to seat at the moment (was there last weekend !!) UNLESS the restaurant/cafe that is currently being renovated will be ready by 16th Dec.

Do enjoy yourself, since you are so close, if I can make it back, I will see you guys there.

my only concern now is that do we direct go dinner from badminton hall?
anyway, will 4pm a little bit tight for kwun?
let say drifit drift from klia,1hour to hotel, then settle down half hour, then drive to badminton hall half hour?
i think 5 pm should be a better choice?

    anyway,hopefully will meet u.
So, what is your final decision? Joining the baddy session or not? I think you should re-schedule your karaoke session in the morning (if you can find one operating).

Why? If karaoke gives you headache, then you should skip it. Hehe.

the owner is a BC member? does that mean we can ask for discount?

in either case, i already told drifit, BC is paying for the session. no problem.

Suggest you book out the whole HALL, (Elements has only 6 courts) ... and cost RM12.00 per hour ... since there are so many now ... all can play doubles at the same time !!

Talk to Alex Ang, he is the big boss ...

i think booking out the whole hall will mean we will never get to chat!

maybe one more court? if we have max turnout rate and max occupancy, that means 16 on court at the same time, one rotation wait, which is not too bad. and we can chat and have fun while we wait.

most important is we have fun and everyone get to socialize a little!

The owner is my friend who used to be in the national team, there are couple of owners I believe. Sure i think there would be a discount on shuttle.. get back to you on that.

Persuade them to PLAY too ... all of the owners are CURRENT/FORMER MALAYSIAN BAM players ....

BlurryD, since you are good friend, ask him IF possible to use the FLOODLIGHTS instead of the court lights ... believe me, the playing feeling is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Reason I mention this again because most of the other halls in town don't have floodlights, so many players may not have the experience/pleasure of playing in such lighting conditions.
