Yonex offers this racket matrix. Can somebody please explain to me the benefits of a Hold racket vs a Repulsion racket?

Why would a person want a Hold vs a Repulsion racket?
It seems to be that a repulsion racket would generate more power on smashes and clears, where a hold racket would offer more touch on drop shots and serves.

    you already answered it yourself!

repulsion - the shuttle pings off your racket fast. you're not fussed on super accuracy just a fast response. you rely on your own accuracy that you've angled your racket perfectly at the point of contact. There's not much shot adjustment as the shuttle has already pinged off and flying back towards your opponent.

hold - the shuttle 'dwells' for a time. this dwell = not ping off the racket. you can feel the shuttle contact your racket and have time to fine tune the direction of repulsion before the shuttle leaves the racket. like you said, touch shots are easier to do/more effective, can slice, tumble more easily etc.
