it looks like that we'd seen the last of India in Olympics, badminton included of course. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/20600380 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-20604739
Typical corrupted and garbage Indian goverment. (Yes I am Indian!) The state of governing bodies is a shambles and it is truly a shame that such great up and coming badminton stars are facing the brunt beacuase of these politician's stupidity.
I wasn't surprised by this news actually,IOC has been threatening to ban IOA for quite some time. In a way I was actually happy for it(not referring to athletes here) because Abhay Singh Chautala (president), Lalit K. Bhanot (secretary-general) and N. Ramachandran (treasurer) are all suresh kalmadi's dolls.Lalit bhanot has indeed went to Jail and was present there for 9 odd months. He is one of the main person in the commonwealth games scandal. There are many scandalous cases against chautala. What are all these persons trying to do.
This is one of the worst day of our indian history.. What they are thinking about the indian citizens , i dont know(I meant Indian politicians).. Best decision ever by IOC. This will be a great lesson to indian politicians who try to dominate even the SPORTS in India. I am really sad for what had happened.
i thought the government would learn something from CWG 2010. They think its all a big joke. Shame on them
Really What the heck can government do..? These law say that one is innocent until he is proven guilty, and these cases would definitely go for some years in the courts,It's all ****.
That's such a shame for their atheletes. Will it affect their apprearance at the Glasgow commonwealth games. That's only about 19 months away
