There's no shame losing to Mitani, Both players are the future of Japanese WS. Nozomi will get there one day, just this year she'll have to settle for the SF. She's proved enough to get herself into the Japan "A" Team, for next season.

minatsu lost to kaoru in the final.. further info will update tonight..a bit disappointed that minatsu failed to win the title because i though it would be an easy win for her after beating nozomi

    Final results

Kenichi Tago bt Sho Sasaki 21-17, 21-15

Kaori Imabeppu bt Minatsu Mitani 21-9, 24-22

    Kenichi Hayakawa/Hiroyuki Endo bt Noriyasu Hirata/Hirokatsu Hashimoto 21-16, 21-14

Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi bt Mizuki Fujii/Reika Kakiiwa 13-21, 7-11 (retired)

    Takeshi Kamura/Koharu Yonemoto bt Kumiko Nishiyama/Shoji Sato 21-19, 21-7

    * Mizuki Fujii injured her right knee, suspected torn ligament or ruptured achilles tendon.
A very bad ending for Mizuki because they were actually leading in the 2nd set 11-7. Initially, I thought it would be great if Mizuki and Reika can win the All Japan title because Mizuki is going to retire next year. It's really a disaster today.

but there was a bad line call at the crucial point. Minatsu should have won that point.
