Thread: How long do your strings last?

Really, it depends on the strings...
Like, if i use BG-6 with 2pounds tension, that will last me FOREVER
If i use BG-66 with 30pounds, i can break it in half a set...
But 6 months as being the top? I'm quite impressed... It usually lasts only 2mths or so, and then the strings start to loosen up a bit... Like rubber! The more u use it/ stretch it, the more elastic it is... xD

My BG65 lasts forever. Had it for so long that i forgot when i had my racquet strung.
My BG66 lasted for only about a week.
i just got BG 9, and is expected to snap soon.

My BG-80 is going on it's 5th month now. It's amazing
My BG-65Ti lasted like a year... It just wouldn't break, but the tension didn't hold so I switched.

Badminton string
Well, I am a school team player. I use Nanos 9000. I strung it with the Nanogy string at a tension of 24lbs.(that suits me best) The string lasted me 6 months before snapping. It is good for smacking. Now using BG 70 at 24lbs. Had beeen using for around 2 months still going well. My advice to intermidiate is to us BG 70(alrounder) and for beginners and that those lloking for value BG 65(Durable and cheap).

I used NBG98 at 24lbs/26lbs on my NS9000X and it lasted 6 weeks so i am impressed with the NBG98 durability compared to BG66 which lasted 4 weeks at the same tension.
I am going to try BG6 later and see how that compares.

Well as for beginners bg65 is the best. It can last you quite a long while. But its not that powerful. So its no good for offensive players. Its repulsion and durablity is great.
