I had BG68TI on my Arc Saber 7. They broke within a month. I'm pretty sure the cold was a factor... I'm trying out BG65s since I heard they last a long time

BG-68Ti should last ages. I had BG-65Ti on my Arcsaber 10 and the racket broke before my strings

You mean like a hybrid tennis string job? If you were going to do it, I think BG-66 on the main would be best (most similar to tennis hybrid stringing) because it is less durable that BG-80. For tennis, you tend to use natural gut on the main and then a synthetic string on the crosses. I'm sure somebody tried hybrid stringing on a badminton racket. If I remember rightly, it didn't go well but if you want to give it a go, why not?

BG-65Ti lasts ages but not everyone likes its feel. Nanogy 98 is immensely powerful and quite durable, Nanogy 95 is more durable but not as powerful.

Nanogy 95 is another good option and will last longer but if you want absolute power, 98 is the way to go.

    Default Replacement for BG 66

Hi, need some advice on replacements for BG 66; really loved playing with BG 66 but the durability is a big issue; just broke my string today after only 2 sessions one hour each !!! and I am not even a hard hitter! have tried BG 85 but somehow the feeling is not the same.... dont really need that much power cos only playing at a recreational level.... any advice guys?

Sorry need to also add, I had my racket strung at a tension of 22; got it done by Mr Soh at Classic ( I guess he is a fairly good stringer) and my racket is this round head carbon-boron racket that I bought years ago...not sure if the type of racket my affect the string durability?

Did you have the grommets checked? Could be a stringer issue or been a mis-hit.

BG-85 is a different string, so it will feel differnet. Definately good if you're a touch/control player if you're not a hard hitter. I personally use this string myself.
