    How do you do that?
Last year I used bg80 with 29lbs, 5*2 hours training sessions a week, and the lasted nearly a month. Are you hitting the shuttle right?

Sometimes luck has a major factor in it.
Last nite i toke my new 8k out for the first spin
and the 23lb BG80 snaped on my 3rd swing with clear.
i checked its string properly with 4 knot according to yy's string mapping.
and the snap rite in the middle of the sweet spot so i guess i didn't hit it
off center. Spend the rest of da nite with the old racket dreamin how good the
new one felt on those 2 clears.

Sure. Sometimes you're unfortuant, but if the string never lasts more than 1-3 days at one stringing, there's something else than bad luck involved. -My opponion at least.

I think it's dependent on the person. When I used to mishit more frequently I broke a string or two every week. Now that I don't mishit nearly as much, I have cut my string breaking in half.

...although I did borrow a friend's racket 3 days ago to test with newly strung BG-65 and I broke it late last night. I need to restring that racket by tonight.

Naw, something is definitely wrong if you broke it on the 3rd swing. I bet the string got twisted or something. If properly strung, string will not break on the 3rd swing.

This depends on how much stress you put on the string. If you play for 6-10 hours per day and you are hitting very hard and/or slicing the shuttle, using very thin string, hitting plastic shuttles, mishits...all this can lead to strings lasting only a few days. So it just depends.

How can you play 10 a day, 5 days a week? I practiced 2-3 hours a day and that more than enough! I'm a double-player by the way.

Regarding i post previous from today, bg-85 is not the most stabile string, I've recently changed to i myself and it's has strung quite a few times this season.

Sure you can play 10 hours a day...if you have the time and your body can take it. I do it once and a while. I only play doubles too. BG-85 is great performing string but for me, like you, not very durable. I remember when I switched to the AT800-OFF, I broke 3 sets of BG-85 in 4 days. No mishits. It happens. Now I use BG-80 at the very thinnest and usually use 0.70mm string otherwise.

I just got my BG68Ti @24lbs on my MP99. I would like to know how long can this string last? Not in terms of durability but the tension.
I play for about 5 -6 hours per week only.
Which string method will hold the tension longer?1 or 2 piece method?

Now I use Diamond Micropower strings. The lifespan depends on the tension, thickness and material of the string and on your playing style. I mostly break my strings on picking up shuttles and scratching the floor or mishitting the shuttles hard.

wow this was a fast one, my last strings on my new forza racquet lasted about 1 week they were well "forza" strings though then i got it restrung with Ashaway PowerGut 66 and well they lasted 2 days...well thats a large decrease in durability...oh well really liked the Ashaway strings though.
