What happened to Pan Pan and He Hanbin

Haven't seen these 2 in a while now. Anybody know what happened to them? Have they retired?

Do you know any reason why they retired?

He Hanbin is even now ranked in top 20 for XD. And Pan Pan is still only 26. Seems odd to suddenly retire.

maybe they just find out that they can't go any further compare to the other team members? so definitely they would find it hard to get some spot in the line-up, then better retired?

He Hanbin still play for Bayi team but he has retired from the national team.
Pan Pan now, very interestingly, is starting her coach career in the national team. I have no idea what advices will she give to Yu Yan/Wang Xiaoli or Zhao Yunlei/Tian Qin

btw, about Pan Pan as a coach, is she that good? i mean, i rarely heard her name when she still playing.

He Hanbin and Pan Pan , both are soldiers. They are actually Lin Dan's teammates in Bayi.

Look at players from Bayi : Lin Dan, Li Xuerui, Wang Xin, Jiang Yanjiao, Liu Xin, He Hanbin, Pan Pan , Zhao Tingting, Feng Chen and the most famous one : Li Gen ( Li yongbo's son). They can form a national team.

God knows if Pan Pan is good or not as a coach. The only interesting things is that Pan Pan and Li Xuerui were playing doubles in 2010 and 2011 in CBSL. After watching their matches, I really believe Li played better than Pan Pan as a WD player. btw, Li is still playing doubles in Bayi yesterday.

btw, the rumor says that Pan Pan's father is a powerful man but I do not know the details. But I think Pan Pan's husband Xu Chen must be very happy with this decision.
