Chen Hong

    Does anybody know what racquet Chen Hong uses ?, I've been trying to find out which Yonex racquet it is.

    But during the Indonesian open vs taufik.. he was not using AT700... in fact Taufik is using AT700. I think he is still using Cab20. Or maybe he interchange his racket... Hmmm...

    I checked on badmintonphoto.com. Definately looks like Ti10 to me. Can't see his racquet from the pictures of the world champs. I wonder if he was using AT700 and then decided to give up using it.

    I think, the only tournament he was using the AT-700 was the Japan Open and then he switched back to Ti-10. Seems like Yonex is paying a nice extra, if pros are willing to play with the newest rackets, which yonex normally releases at the Japan Open. Ha and Yoo also played with AT-700 in that tournament and then switched back to Iso-800 and Cab-20.

    That reminds me, I did notice Huang Sui using MP99 at the Japan Open in 2002 (?). After that she switched back to Ti10.

    Olli, sounds like you are right - Japan open is used as a presentation for the new racquets models and then pros are free to continue using the model or go back to their preference.
