Question How to check Racket Balance

I got these new rackets which has Balance 305 +/- 5mm written on P80 of Adidas Racket.
    & 288 +/-5mm Balance on Precision 580 Adidas Racket.

Now which one is head heavy & which one is head light.

To be frank and honest, if you can't tell which one is more head heavy between the two by playing with them, then it really doesn't matter at this stage.

But for your information, the BP is measured from the butt of the racquet handle on a racquet which has no strings but with the original grip (and no other grips). The shorter the distance, the more head light it is and vice versa.

    Generally speaking:

    <285 - head light
    285 - 295 even balanced
    >295 - head heavy

I can make out that the P80 is heavier & Precision 580 is lighter.

I thought when the center of gravity is near the handle it is Light Head & near the neck it is heavy head.

I understood what you said but Still I don't get it.

If we're measuring the balance from the butt of the handle, then the larger the number e.g. 295mm from the handle it would be considered head heavier than say 285mm since the balance point is closer to the head not the handle.

So when the balance is closer to the head (larger number), then it is head heavier. When the balance is closer to the handle (smaller number), it's headlight.
