1) Sindhu vs Tine Baun

2) Mitani Minatsu vs Portnip

3) Eriko vs Lindaweni

4) Ajay Jayaram vs Daren Liew

5) Sho Sasaki vs Tommy Sugiarto

6) Lee Chong Wei vs Victor Axelsen

Wow, potential Second Round Match-up: Sun Yu vs Baun / Sindhu. For Baun / Sinhu, it must be a strange feeling to play two tall opponents in a row.

Of course, Sun Yu must qualify for the main draw and beat Busanan Ongbumrungpan first.

Then, the winner will play Tai Tzu Ying in the quarter-final round. What a contrast in height!

I hope Sun Yu will qualify for main draw easily. She has to face sonia from malaysia. I dont think it will be hard for her to beat Sonia. She will be facing Busanan in the first round. She has to work hard to beat her. Busanan will not let her to win it easily

. Sun Yu is a sweet girl. She is just 18. Already world's tallest women's singles player so far

. I think she has some more years in her growing stage

. She may even cross 61/2 feet at that time

In M/Q Report 3, Hu Yun was seeded #9, Taufik was seeded #5. Why in the drawing, Taufik was unseeded, and Hu Yun was seeded?

Tough draw for Lindaweni, if she could pass Eriko, possible scenario she will take on Nozomi Okuhara and Saina Nehwal in R/16 and QF respectively.

M/Q Report is conducted based on 13th December WR while Seeding Report based on 27th December WR. Taufik Hidayat WR declined and losing huge point due his first round exit in IND GP Gold 2012 where he's the winner of same tournament in 2011 edition.

MAS's ZZ need to fight all the way to main draw while DEN's VA already enter to main draw only to meet LCW... poor former WJCs...

Even bad luck for VA in Malaysia as last year in 1st round, he had to meet LD, which he gave a bright fight.. And now this year, he will be up against Lee Chong Wei, which I hope he can give a run for the money as well..

Just heard that Ratchanok decided to withdraw from MO due to her troubling impacted tooth.

It's been disturbing her for quite some time. Now, it's time of an oral surgery to remove it.
