I have heard that there is going to be a Nanoray 900 released this year. I was about to pruchase a 700fx but would be interested if anyone has any info of this possible release and is it worth holding out for?

700 FX? I have not heard anything about a Nanoray 900 but I think for now the Nanoray 800 is a really good choice!

Yeah it's out. But it's quite head light. And the top of the frame from 10-2 o'clock has one of the thinnest cross section I've ever seen. Good for speed, but not for power and clashes.

The 700FX? The frame is pretty thick all round compared to say a NS9900, Voltrics or the NR800, even at the top.

I did break one about 3 weeks ago but that was expected given my racket was almost stationary (about to play a delicate drop) and my partner hit a full-blooded smash straight through it without calling. No racket would have survived it.

^ Nope. I was referring to the NR900. It's already out. Seen it, held it, swung it.

Crap. My bad. Must be the lingering effects of the flu...

It was the 800 that I saw. But even then it had a very thin frame at the top.

Might be out for the All England in March, and if it's what I think it's going to be - a mega-stiff headlight - I would hold onto your pennies until then. I'll certainly be trying it.

Looks like it will be released in June (finally) and a dedicated webpage will be up shortly [IMG]

Here is something I bumped into regarding the listing (from http://www.badoya.com/バドミントンラケット辞典/nanoray-ナノレイ/):

    ~ ~ Expected to liberty

Will it do it is the product close to the 9000 and Nano Speed 9900 . Information I do not have been around much yet . While the expected 900 and I think we come out on nano- Ray series probably in the past , Nanorei Z speed flashy that was recorded ( initial velocity ) tremendous smash speed but it came out at that time . Z speed was a racket that specializes in smash , but I look forward to the difference because there is a hard hitters Smash subject this time . Shaft I would be even close to balance at rather hard . Frame size - I wonder is the normal size , not the compact frame .

"3 YONEX top of that to selling smash "

    Smash heavy heavy : Ⅱ → Power bolt ① Rick Z Force

② Nanorei → Z speed speed : initial velocity maximum speed

    Smash sharp : 900 → ③ angle Nanorei

Nanorei 900 Well it particularly suited to the scene to hit in the barrage , such as doubles than blow .

    From rants to forecast-

What I'm near nanospeed 9900 and the 9000 product. Still too much information is not around. Z speed a flashy while you expect and it's past supposedly goes ナノレイ series 900 recorded at that time terrific smash speed (muzzle velocity). Z speed was a racquet smash-specific, but also smash mainly for the hard-hitting and so difference is fun. The shaft stiffer in a balance even close I guess. Frame size is normal size, not compact frame? ~.

'Smash you ULI YONEX 3 top.

① voltric Z force Ⅱ → power: heavy heavy smash

Z speed-speed: velocity is speed.

900-angle: a sharp smash

900 especially suited for occasions hit in the barrage of doubles than the one hit, isn't it.

been really long since ns9000x and ns9900. hope it is not yet another numb soggy compact frame product that create another speed record. nr800 mold is fine, make it x stiff with a slightly taller BP. and yes, pls bring the 2u to msia.
