Any racquets in the Adidas lineup most similar to my Voltric 80 4U?

Look at the Precision Pro and Tour.

    4u vt80 is around 83g/308mm and stiff.

Precision Pro is 85/288 and medium.

The closest Adidas would be Adizero Pro 80/295 and stiff.

Everything else stiff and HH in Adidas lineup are high 3u weight eg. Force.

The Precision Pro I used was no where near those specs. It was head heavy. Head heavier than any of the other Adidas rackets I had a hit with, and I had a hit with them all.

The Adizeros are a bit like the Flashboost in that they may be approaching 300mm but they all feel headlight, like the weight is at the T. They were pretty 'tinny'.

The Precision Pro and Tour I had a hit with both had the classic 'weight at 12 o'clock' feel.

^ The really high SW (ie heavy and HH, and stiff too) are the adiPower Pro and Force. Did you get a chance to try those?

Yeah I tried the APP. Not super head heavy, but quite heavy overall and stiff.

Thank you guys for the replies.

I've swung a Adipower Pro (dry) and very much enjoyed the swing feel of it. Maybe it's because of it's new aerodynamics that make it feel more fluid and less drag?

Possibly even better feel than my Voltric 80 4u, what's the specs of the APP?

I would also like to add that I may however, switch to a 3U racquet soon anyways, the Voltric 80 4u is my current racquet of chose in getting back to the badminton game. It replaces my Armortec 250 which i found to be too heavy and straining on my arms.

I 'attempt' to play an offensive style doubles game (usually back)

    APP is 88/293, stiff.

If you're swinging it dry, make very sure you also compare a dry swing with another racket known to you.

Because it will feel head light and easy to swing as it has no strings, hence head weighing 3g less and no air resistance from strings.

Always compare swinging in same condition.

    Ah, yes.

I have tested both racquets a Voltric 80 4U and a Adipower Pro 3U both dry.

I'm surprised that the Adipower Pro felt better to swing

Not better, but easier. Because it's not as head heavy.

Yeah.....nah. It has nothing to do with the frame.

The APP is a whole other level of stiffness and heaviness, compared to a 4u VT80. If you're looking for something heavier overall but less head-heavy than the VT80, I'd be looking at the AP Tour before the Pro.

Whoa.... another player had an APP and I managed to hit around with it for 5 minutes. Very nice! Somehow it felt very smooth to swing. Not too stiff. Very easy to generate power for overheads and also very fast for defending smashes. Slight heft to the head but unusually maneuverable. Nice solid feel at strike.

A huge night and day difference from the ZSpeed.

Hmmm... will have to visit the store tomorrow...

    Told you....
The APP is highly maneuverable and crazy fast even though it's bulky look may suggest otherwise!
    ZM62 on it is heavenly...
