Correct - and usually, being a "macho male" - everyone wants a BIGGER, MORE POWERFUL SMASH ... thus moving towards "head-heavy" and isometric frames ... this is why the manufacturers are producing more of these types ...

In my case, stroke-wise, I am pretty happy with my all-round game/strokes ... I prefer a good rally stroke play game to all-out smashes. BTW, the Cab20 already gives one HELL OF A SMASH ... so far, from my experience, only VTZF, VT80, AT700 and N90 can really out-perform it significantly / noticably in terms of smashing OOOMMPPPHHH and power ....

I just need to have BETTER FOOTWORK and STAMINA ... getting tubby as I age !!

personally, head heaviness doesnt equal smash power. i smash hardest with my ns9900. not the at700.

not trying to jump on the carbonex bandwagon, but from my personal experience with many rackets, carbonex with the oval head still feels the best in a smash given that you are spot on the sweet spot when you swing.

Yeah, that was before I knew that rackets from Hong Kong were so much cheaper.

My playing style sound similar to the op, but I'm currently using an Armortec 800 DE 4U. Does anyone here know of a racquet that might better suit me in the 4U weight class?

just test some rackets, that's always the best you can do!

for a junior (14 years) i wouldn't recommend VTZF 3u by any means. it's quite head heavy...
a VT80 4u might be a nice choice if you wanna stick to voltric...
