Anyone knows how much an Armortec 700 costs in Bangkok, Thailand? Any particular shop(s) where I can get them cheap? I'll be going there in December. Thanks.
a lot of my friends go to bangkok and buy from only 1 store...World Trade center mall. i think its on the third floor. its an authorized seller of yonex products. they even have bundled goodies if your lucky to get a hold of them since they sell out very fast. a friend was able to get an MP99, yonex bag, string and towel set for the same price as an MP99 by itself..a real bargain!
Sweet! Do you know where I can find good shops that sell badminton rackets other than the Yonex shop at WTC? Thanks.
armortec in bangkok good luck in finding one. store clerk tld me that whenever stock comes (w/c is on the 3rd week of the month) someone coes in and just buys them all
Mongoose , you can get at WTC and Supersport. There are also one store around the corner of WTC , but i forgot the name. Anyway you can try and negotiate the price in WTC.
hi! I was just there last week and bought myself the AT 700. All my friends bought too. We got it from supersports in central chidlom and luckily there was a storewide sale that day. The racquet was selling for Bht4890 less 10% discount so it was only Bht4401. Since we all bought, we got entitled to the VAT refund for tourists for an additional 7% discount (you get this rebate at the airport, before you leave -- but there are requirements needed to avail of this, check out leaflets found at the airport and at department stores), so it just costs Bht4058.7 It is really cheaper than the ones sold here in Manila. regards, chow8
Hi, there are places that you can get these kinds of rackets much cheaper than the Yonex store in the WTC. They are located around the National Stadium, however, you will need to have knowledge of Thai as I remember that they don't really speak English that well in some of the shops located there. Although the Yonex store requires you to buy the racket with accessories to get them at a lower price than the racket itself, these small shops near the National Stadium will sell them to you at an even lower price than the package that Yonex offers in the WTC. Hope this helps
