They could have paid fine instead coming here and making fake retirements. BWF need to take steps in order to control the MASS RETIREMENTS from a specific country.
there are too many loopholes for smart people to manipulate.. BWF should think smarter in order to avoid players and coaches manipulate any of if. BWF needs careful consideration before setting anymore now rules...
Yea, but do you agree that this pair did the least walkovers among the rest of chinese players? and also they benefited the least from matches among the same country...
Those so called elite players in their respective department have retired in this competition.... Well Well Well ..... CL - MS LXR - WS CY/FHF - MD
erm,so will u impress with those who stolen least money or corrupt least money? what wrong is wrong, doing less doesnt made it right
I didnt say what they did just now were right.. I'm just dissapointed as both of them, in my opinion is least likely to do all this among all... I'm just shocked and dissapointed, that all
Just got back, and shock to see obvious plot retirement from Chn no 1 in their department.. Now what are you trying to do LYB ?? Ckckck.....they just dont care at all
it is very questionable to see each top player from their discipline getting injured at the same day .....I am actually looking forward to watch LCW vs CL ....
so will bwf do anything to curb this problem from china?? This is downgrading the tournament men.. p/s its a premier grade of a super series..
Didnt BWF promise to look into miscelleanous wo since couple years back ? Yet didnt see the results ?? Obviously we cant hope too much from them And to think this just start of the season... Arent ppl in bwf sick like us ??
Just like superpower nations won't give any da*n about the UN, why should a badminton superpower give any da*n about BWF? As simple as that.
Before China turn this whole sport into a laughing stock, something drastic must be done. Like everyone pointed out they just don't give a damn. The withdrawals are all pre-planned and so obvious. I say ban them for the whole year from all BWF competitions. Will BWF have the balls to do anything about this? The most likely answer is no.
Yeah. That should be the case. Mass Retirement is not a joke man..!! Huh..What a disgrace to the sport. BWF should impose ban to these players as if they have done in Olympics . And also need to impinge heavy fine by which they can stop these kind of malpractices.
Talk is easy. But not easy to prove that the retirement are all coordinated. Unless all the players are admitting that they are told to retire. When Cai Yun took his shirt off last Nov or Dec, I think during HongKong open, we could see how many bandages he had. I know my post will draw many counter argument but I have written many times before that there is no way to force players to play. Not by using fines or other punishment. The only way is to make all players to be professional players. If they earn at least 80% of the prize money they win, they will be the one who decide whether to play or not and I believe the "premier" event will attract these players. The problem is some national association can "force" players because their earnings are dependent on the association. Even if they are professional players, if they get banned by the association, they may not be able to play. BWF should change the way players register for tournament. No need to go through the association.
I thought only Li xuerui got injured before the tournament . I expected her retirement today. But never thought all other players as well sing the same song. If they are injured truly, i wish them a fast recovery. Because i love Fu/cai 's play very much. I could not tolerate when i saw them retiring without any injury . Really disappointing.
You talk big but give a ridiculousness example related to number of bandages. Not all instances of guilt needs absolute prove.
