Hey guys! I'm actually posting to ask you people what kind of badminton information do you all really desire online? This is because I have a badminton site, http://www.art-of-badminton.com which is made with the purpose of training smart, not just hard, and i want to know what kind of information of you people seeking for online! I do not want to spend months researching on badminton history just to realize the people that visit my site are those doing history assignments... I want to help YOU I wanted to start a poll but apparently I don't know how nor is there a FAQ i could find that teaches me how to start a poll here. Okay so please please please share with me what kind of fresh content would appeal to you most? Me showing all the different Badminton techniques? Badminton comedy? How-to-train infos,eg videos of Badminton drills? Fitness training for badminton? Or should i go into topics such as Badminton psychology? Badminton tactics & Strategy? Badminton safety prevention? Do tell me anything you guys love to hear/see/smell so that i can make em, just for you ^_^ Thanks for reading guys!
There are lots sites who focus on technique. You can't really have a site on badminton without it. However there are fewer sites that explain psychology, mental toughness, overcoming a bad run of points, how to determine which strategy to implement against an opponent and when to change tactics. If you have great Einsteinian insights in to how to express those intangibles to us hoi-polloi, then you would have a unique site. Oh, and don't forget the comedy
I second the proposal this far: 1. Mental 2. Strategies, including good patterns + combos I'd seen bits and pieces in #2 area. It'd be good if there's a more systemic coverage. How many well known strategies/patterns are there, and when to use which one, what they're good for. How to combine them, when etc.
Some searches I normally browse although skewed towards grass roots... 1) Local Junior Tournaments Calender 2) Biography/history/career of up and coming junior players 3) Behind the scene / going ons in BAM/BWF etc. 4) Badminton equipment promos / warehouse sales 5) Sponsors
Hi , I like discussions of techniques and strategies in more depth and also supplementing these with some video examples. An example of discussion and the site is below. http://www.jpbadminton.com/?p=250 (The Backhand grip forehand shot)
I would love to see you doing some videos on deception (double motion, hold & flick...), or shots like reverse (cross, straight) slices! Can't really find any helpful videos on YouTube and just reading the techniques is not really helpful (at least not me), especially for complicated strokes...
me too, love to see you doing some videos on deception or shots like reverse (cross, straight) slices!thanks
I would more like some examples and videos of different drills or practice methods common at the highest level, I feel that Lee among others have already a lot of videos on technique. Like for example people often link the Rasmussen footwork video, but that's about it. There's so much more.
