Afterwards, I don't expect any surprises - Datuk Lee to win in two straights but not by a wide margin. At most a three-setter for my fave underdog DuPY this time.

Xu Chen ill, GC suspected? Could be his gastritis acting up again.

Lol... Xu did the hardest smash he could, and the followup? A simple return shot... And the next one a drop which hits the top part of the tape... That was pure gold.

Whatever XC's got, it's contagious - MJ netted a simple return!

XC is apparently exhausted. Smash8ng too hard may contributes to that too

What a tiring wait for both MS players.

Zhang Nan has achieved so much and still playing well, yet he's worried LYB might not be satisfied with him, according to what I heard GC said earlier, not in this match. That's the kind of tremendous pressure faced by and high expectations demanded of CHN 's elite players.

Both LXR and WYH are not seriously injured. They just don't want to get injured because they are so tired of playing so many matches. whatever they do in Korea won't change their ranking. I suppose that China leaves WSX just for her ranking point, or she will probably drop out top 8. btw, WSX got injured too. And frankly speaking, she does have too many weaknesses. and the way she hold the racket is not even professional, that's the reason why she cant smash or even give a deep clear.

Xu Chen was held up by LYB as an example for other CHN players to emulate when he continued competing despite being hospitalised for gastritis in the HK Open'12, IIRC. So maybe that's why he played on just now in spite of showing signs of discomfort.

I guess LCW cannot continue playing his fast-paced fierce attacking badminton now that he is on the wrong side of 30, so has to make some changes to his game. If that's the case, during this transitioning stage he may be a bit more vulnerable.

Only LCW's lack of confidence not his skills can let him down. But that won't happen today.
