isn't it more profitable for BWF to have a single long broadcast with commercial in between, instead of forcing people to re-start? most ppl won't even bother about WS/WD..

Turns out changing the service judge would have been pointless ...they didn't get to serve again

Managed to embarrass themselves quite convincingly however

A nervous start for Sung. But she has beaten two CHN WS on the way to the final and with the home crowd behind her, she should be highly motivated to gun for her first SS title.

WSX had better smash more and not drop shot all the time.

I agree with you. The last 4 to 5 years leading up to the 2012 London OG, IMO, were the golden era of the men doubles. We saw many top quality, strong MD pairs from various countries battling it out on court. In fact, there was no one hot favorite for the London OG MD gold medalist because the game was so open.

Sadly this golden era has passed. We are now moving into a generation where most of the MD pairs are young and upcoming; they have not reached the top level yet. Hence, it is no longer as open as before. IMO, the MD discipline will be dominated by one or two strong, quality pairs in the immediate future because there aren't any real challengers now.

If WSX isn't sure the shuttle is going to land out, then it's better to play it.

Sung already got the hang of WSX's cross court drop shots.

To quote the world champion Chen Jin, in Korea you don't play singles but 1 against 13!
