next big thread would be, "who's got the best light weight racket?" now that yonex made one to compete with that of other manufacturers

Anyone else think that Yonex have just lost it now? Who is in charge? What the hell is this?

"Evolution" ... what do you care , we don't have to buy it . Is probably what they said when they went under 100gr. as well "Under 100gram??? Too light! Must be for children?!?"

That Thwack that Julie Houmann is using is also a 5U already. Interesting though that the target group seems to be the intermediate male player (for the FB).

True, we don't have to buy it, but they're not making me want to buy it!

Having tried the Karakal M-70 once, I just don't see how this can be a racket that'll take off and become a best seller... Too light an not enough head weight...

In a best case scenario they are filling the gaps on the chart and will lead to the top-right gap being filled . AT900's are gone, maybe a stray VT90 will fill it ...

Post thumb-up edit : ARC11 is interesting enough to pull some strings anyway ^^

i'm assuming its a mid range racket since its marked under "beginners" and if it is 6u, doesnt that seems a bit too light? 4u on a nanoray is already fast enough ._. .... can already guess this is more of a doubles racket if anything.

It is not marked under beginners? And an rrp of 24,150 is the same as NanoRay 800 for example and higher than VT80, not exactly mid range prices ... Recommended for intermediate male players and suitable for advanced male and female players is what it is marked as (cmiiw).
Can't exactly see many players switching to it but Matsutomo of Japan, indeed another (women's) doubles player is also playing with a 5U (Wilson). Maybe Zieba of Poland is crazy enough to try it out soon already ...

Might be a good choice for my wife. A flimsy reason for me to buy another racket

I just concern the durability of this racket. Many 4U rackets these days bite the dust easily after a few "reasonable" clashes. 6U...

This feels odd. I actualy consider getting back to 2U after a few years with these flimsy 3U:s. I have a VT70 in 4U and I find it almost unplayable. STILL there is this devil in me that says "Get it!", and I just might. Just for laughs. I wonder how many "swing - miss" I'll get the first hour.

Anyway, are there any pros likely to endorse this... thing?
