Aeroplane black series quality?

I know that a couple months ago the Aeroplane black series shuttles underwent a decrease in quality for who knows what reasons.

Does anyone know if Aeroplane has fixed the quality issues or are they still using poorer materials?

last batch I bought in US (in late November) is horrible, inconsistent flight, slows down after few hits

It is definitely not as good. What's the new best alternative for quality and price?

not couple of months ago. it has been a year.

so far i have seen no change in the quality.

nowadays Aeroplane Black has slipped down the quality list. feathers snaps quickly, slows down, and the cork deform. the new Aeroplane Black lasts on average around 1/2 game where they used to last at least 1 1/2 with spare.

i recently managed to flatten an Aeroplane Black from just smash practice, and for people who know me, i am not a hard smasher and that has never ever happened to me no matter how i try.

some friends have been using Chao Pai red and they seem to hold up pretty well.

Probably now considering sticking with what our club usually uses (Li-Ning A+300)
Hmm..might be considering RSL Classic Tourny shuttles again!

My friend just bought 10 tubes from a local store in Toronto and they are horrible. Inconsistent and the corks are deformed after play.

Now the question is....what's the next go-to shuttle? I've been using Aeroplane blacks too. I have 1 tube left of the old Aeroplane Blacks and they are MUCH more durable than the new. I know MaxSports only sell Yonex...JJ sports has a variety of shuttles. JJ used to have Chau Pai Reds which I really liked...but they don't sell them anymore.

I tried some Victor ones but some of them are waaay to fast. I tap it a little and flies out. Unless that's only a particular model.

Let me know if anybody have any ideas.

You can try Yang-Yang 300B or Yang-Yang 202.

I use the YY 202 and they last from 1- to 3 games. And they are still relatively stable when they have damaged feathers. (I have never used Aeroplane black so i cant compare.)

When steamed properly, the Li-Ning A+300 are the best if no one miss hits. Don't even bother getting the A+70 or A+40..those are garbage. Would love to try the A+600 shuttles one day if I had the money lol..

Actually, I've tried the A+40, 70, 300s and like Clue said, I do agree that the 40s are garbage, but the A+70s are not as bad as they seem. They're one of the most durable shuttles I've ever used and are definitely worth looking into if you want some budget shuttles, but mind you that was after I steamed them.

Li-Ning Canada is getting some more options for shuttles by the way (A+60, 80, 100) if you want to look for some in-betweeners.

Li-ning eh? I tried some at my club and they were garbage. Maybe those are the 40's you guys are referring to. Clue: what make's 70's a garbage shuttle because Cillu just said it was a very durable shuttle? Flight/speed? Please elaborate.

Different cases for some people I guess..its good only for training for my case btw. I've played with the 70's for club matches, and even if one person mis-hits, the whole flight of the shuttle will not be the same as if you were to get it out of the tube for the first time if you know what I mean. Meanwhile with the 300's, you get what you pay for and even if everyone mis-hits during the match, the shuttle will still maintain its flight while remaining durable at the same time.

I was thinking to pre-order some from shuttlecock101.com, but now I think I will switch to RSL classic,
even tho stock is coming in at the end of May.
