I would rate Mateusiak/Zieba as a very good XD pair....the top 4 in Europe with Laybourn/Rytter-Juhl, Robertson/Emms and Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen over the past decade.

They are also one of the few pairs who could really scare top Chinese and Indonesian XD pairs during the times of Zhang/Gao, Xie/Zhang, Nova/Butet, and Flandy/Vita.

As far as finals day goes, today was probably the shortest ever finals in Malaysia Super Series history. With no match going the distance, and at least 3 of the 5 matches more of one sided contests. Only the mixed doubles has some semblance of a tight contest, and even then, only at the tailend of game 2.

    Default Mixed Doubles Final ........

The heavily experienced World and Olympic bronze medallists Danish pair really planned the match well. The Malaysians, to their credit, did not fold but a late charge was not enough to prevent a Danish outcome .... Fischer's left arm proving too powerful to tame.

The Olympics Bronze-Medallist Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen have really turned into a formidable pair that Towi/Butet and any other INA pairs dread to face right now.

Man, that's a nasty colour scheme. That'll only work for the Dutch football team.
