Lee Chong Wei - Ninth time champion of Malaysia Open.

As for Lin Dan, I hope to see him wipe off Rudy Hartono's name out of the All England history. So in this world only two players are worth remembering: LIN DAN and LEE CHONG WEI.
How can anyone forget ZHAO JIANHUA !!!

For your information, when records are broken, the predecessors who set it will be overwritten and erased by the person who broke it. In time, their names will be lost and nobody will remember them.

Just like Erland Kops, after Rudy Hartono broke it with the help of his Indonesian friends aka Liem Swie King, Erland was never remembered and his name is lost in translation.

Lin Dan has overwrites Morten Frost's All England Open Era record and now it's his turn to overwrite and erase Rudy Hartono's prehistoric All England record.

COME ON LIN DAN YOU CAN DO IT !!

To be fair, if someone is great enough to beat Lin Dan's two Olympic Gold, I will acknowledge that player.

At the moment, that "player" has not showed up yet. Maybe in 100 years if badminton still remains in Olympics ?

This thread is about Malaysia SS Final, a tourney that Lin Dan doesn't bother to show up in. The fact that the poster brags about Lin Dan several times (despite the fact he's a new member) shows us his intention.

The message is clear and simple; you break the record you will be be remembered.

The other who sets the previous record will never be remembered once broken. That's the rule of life and how the system works here.

As much as I adores Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan will show up in Kuala Lumpur later to fight him in the Sudirman Cup 2013.

There and then you will see another repeat semi-final clash in Thomas Cup 2010. I am sure a lot of people remembered the outcome of the match

Hi Buddy... You are chiming in the wrong thread. Please see your way out and join this thread instead:

We do not want to talk about Lin Dan here.

Go to Zhao Jianhua's thread to find the answer. It's not just the titles won but how he played.

Actually Sony's defense was ok (not in this match). When he defeated LCW 2 times at WC, his answers to LCW smashes that frustrate LCW. But today, maybe his depleted stamina tear down his defense and confident.
But congratulations to LCW for winning the title, and Sony for his achievements on his comeback.
