I think the return of Rexy Manaiky to INA team play a big part. This really motivated this pair to perform. I have seen this INA pair play before but less motivation. But today they are totally different !

Lee Yong Dae vs Hendra Setiawan. I don't think I need to mention who's the best at the net!

They beat Boe/Mogensen once and lost once to Fu/Cai

So happy atm, once again Ina can mixing up formidable md in Ahsan and Hendra

With Hendra deceptive, light touch and Ahsan explosive style they give something to think about to their fellow opponents esp Cai/Fu, KKK/TBH, Bomo and LYD/KSH

I guess one title each for nation in this final day

Some will say that Koreans didn't play well, but here I can they were out matched in every department. Drives and pushes from INA were kept low and they kept at it until they forced a lift from KOR, and then finished off the rally with one or two smashes MULTIPLE times. Maybe the KOR defense was off but they only managed to hold off one smash most rallies. The angle on those INA smashes were sublime as well. I think this defeat definitely highlighted the vulnerabilities of this new pairing as much of it relies on LYD getting the lift for his partner. However when you have two INA players outclassing LYD in the front court and in drives, there could only be one outcome to this match.

Hendra hands down is the best in front of the net!!!! His placement of shuttles on the net area is perfect.

Key is at Hendra. But Hendra is not too consistent. When he is on fire, less error, even CY/LYD can't take the net from his command. But on the other day, he can play like nervous junior

I was expecting the, ehem, new PBSI official to jump up and down, but he was quite cool from his seat. Excellent tactics from INA MD, adding to more grey hairs for Coach Kang.

Yes. Exactly. But LYD is ahead of consistency if we are talking one year span.
